Management Team Spotlight: Meet Tanya Chisling, Director of Operations and Team Listings

Every Wednesday on the JJ Team blog, we introduce you to one of the people behind The Jennifer Jones Team. Last week, I went first. This week is especially close to my heart: I'd like you to meet my sister, Tanya Chisling.

Meet Tanya

Tanya is our Director of Operations and Team Listings (and lead listing coordinator) at The Jennifer Jones Team, with LPT Realty, Brokerage. If you've listed your home with us, there's a good chance Tanya has been part of your story — even when most of that work happens behind the scenes.

She brings exceptional skills in organization and operations. With eight years of post-secondary education and a prior role as a vice principal at a private school, Tanya knows how to lead people, keep complex timelines moving, and hold a high standard when the details matter.

On our team, she doesn't just run the listing process — she created many of the systems we use every day. From the first listing kickoff through photos, paperwork, MLS® details, showings, and marketing, Tanya is the steady hand that keeps everything organized so our agents can focus on advising clients and negotiating for them.

Why operations matters when you're selling

When people picture a real estate team, they usually picture the agent at the showing or the sign on the lawn. What they don't always see is everything it takes to get a home from "we're thinking about selling" to "SOLD."

Every listing has a long list of moving parts: paperwork, photos and video, the details that go into the MLS® listing, showings, open houses, marketing, and the many small deadlines that come with each step. When those pieces are organized and handled with care, sellers feel calmer, buyers get accurate information, and our agents can focus on what they do best.

The person behind the systems

I often say that behind every property is a person, a family, and a reason for making a change. The same is true on our side.

Away from the office, Tanya has an incredible husband, Brad — they've been together since high school. They have a daughter, Caitlin, who is a published author, and a son-in-law, David, who is an engineer. Tanya has a deep love for dogs and all fur creatures; her dogs' names are Bea and Finnegan. And when she gets a chance to get away, she loves to travel on cruise ships.

Tanya is a super important part of The JJ Team, and she can be counted on to provide the highest level of everything — for our agents and for the clients who trust us with their next move.
