I'm so grateful to share that I'm featured in the October 2026 issue of Buzz Magazine. The story, "Jennifer Jones: Building a Business That Makes Room for Life," is on pages 22 and 23, and it's a personal one: how we built this business, and why we built it to make room for life.

Where it started

I became licensed in February 2014 with one goal: give people an exceptional experience. As the article shares, within three years I had generated more than $1.1 million in gross commission income as an independent agent.

That growth came with a responsibility. Repeat clients and referrals were trusting me with important decisions, and keeping that level of service took more than one person. Building a team was the next step. Today, The Jennifer Jones Team typically includes between 35 and 50 REALTORS®.

Making room for life

The heart of the story is a question I started asking a few years ago: how could I help more agents succeed without everything depending on my own ability to sell one more home?

That question got urgent in 2022, when my husband was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. As I wrote for Buzz:

"We wanted to live today, spend more time together and create the freedom to choose how we spent our days."

A different structure

Making room for those dreams meant building the business differently. Through a cloud-based brokerage platform, I've built an organization of more than 600 agents. It's separate from our sales team, but it's rooted in the same belief:

"…when you pour into people and help them grow, you create something that can reach far beyond your own production."

AI as the next stage of growth

The article also covers how we're bringing AI into our day-to-day work. The goal is to automate the repetitive tasks so our people spend more time with agents and clients.

"Every hour spent chasing information, organizing routine work or preparing repetitive communications is an hour that could be spent listening to an agent, solving a client concern or creating a better experience."

The human side stays the same. AI outputs get reviewed, and our people stay accountable for the service we deliver.

The part that shouldn't change

The scale of the dream has grown, but the service that shaped my early success hasn't changed. Here's how I put it in the article:

"…agents who feel supported, clients who feel valued, and time to be present for the people and causes we love."
