The Jennifer Jones Team, LPT Realty, Brokerage respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle personal information through jj.team, guided by Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information we collect

When you use a form or chat, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, property address, buying or selling preferences, timing and messages. We also record your consent selections and related dates. If you create an account, we keep account details and any saved searches or favourites. Chat conversations are stored and may be reviewed by authorized team members.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, arrange showings or evaluations, match you with a team member, provide requested real estate services and maintain records of communications and consent. Marketing messages are sent only where we have appropriate consent or another lawful basis.

Consent and unsubscribe

Our forms let you choose email and/or text consent. You may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time using an email's unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not prevent necessary service communications or retention required by law.

Service providers and safeguards

Authorized team members and service providers supporting hosting, communications, appointments and AI-assisted chat may process information as needed to deliver these services. Information may be processed outside Canada and subject to local laws. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no online transmission is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive financial documents, passwords or identification through chat.

Retention and your choices

We retain information as needed for the purposes described above and applicable legal obligations. You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about retention or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Legal and recordkeeping requirements may limit deletion.
